- About Me:
- Studied traditional ceramics at Hungary in 1985-88 and from here I developed my present practice. 2001 I set up my studio in North-West of Ireland. My interest in ceramic is mainly influenced by the Oriental-Japanese Tradition. After over 20 years working and experimenting with the clay, I find the reduction raku techniques and lately the wood firing the most effective to express myself.The Ceramics I make they are not necessarily functional pieces; they are more like objects, containers especially my new works, which shows great influence of my stays in Japan.
